We have high tech computer operated machinery with the capacity to treat over 5,000 metres per day. This enables us to offer a fast turnaround of 7 – 10 days on the majority of production orders.
36 METRE LONG STENTER LINE
Our stenter production line allows us to apply traditional
backcoatings, pad impregnation systems, soil and stain and anti-microbial
treatments and wet lamination treatments, using natural compounds whenever
possible. This high volume machine has a latest "state of the art" gas burner
system that is highly efficent, thus reducing the impact on the environment.
This production line is being adapted to produce foam lamination.
20 METRE LONG LAMINATION LINE
Our high volume thermal lamination production line was designed by our engineers and built to our own exacting specification. This unique process has a patent pending and is used to apply our specialist naturally based compounds to treat mainly synthetic fibres. We also use this facility to apply waterproof / blackout films to all fabric types.
We have invested in the latest Volvo Penta power generation, so we can produce our own electricity, this protects us from power supply failure by the national grid and allows us to produce our own power at more competitive rates.
When your fabrics arrive at our factory, they are booked in checked against the paperwork, then allocated for production.
All fabrics for a particular treatment are sewn together and rolled onto a large fabric A-frame normally consisting of between 1,000 to 2,000 metres, ready to be moved into production.
The fabric will then be moved through to the production factory for treatment. Sometimes for PVC’s, PU’s, Acrylics and Soil and Stain treatments, the fabric will will be processed on both production lines.
DE-BATCH AND QUALITY CONTROL
After treatment the fabric is carefully inspected as it comes off the large A-Frame and put back onto a tube.
Each order is allocated a bar code work number should you need to track your order at any stage of the process. The factory is kept spotlessly clean and operates to ISO standards, to ensure the best possible care is taken with your fabric.
DISTRIBUTION AND STORAGE
We have just opened up this facility, so we can carefully store in
suspension tubes and distribute your fabrics directly to your clients. Please
ask us to quote for this service.
We recycle and re-use packaging materials whenever possible, if
materials cannot be internally recyled then they are put into our compacting
machine and sent for outside recycling processing.
We are in the process of developing our own laboratory so we can produce trial samples and replicate treatments on 'micro machines' for indicative testing and showing representative handle and appearance of fabrics for our customers approval.
WE TRY TO BE AS GREEN AS POSSIBLE IN EVERY RESPECT!
